Motions

Round 1: This House Regrets the media emphasis on the gender of successful female professionals.

Round 2: In liberal democracies where Catholicism is a prominent religion, THBT governments should mandate the Catholic Church to denounce and remove verses that communities use to justify discrimination and violence.

Round 3: This House Would disallow the practice of naturalizing foreign athletes to serve on national sports teams.

                 (Info slide) Naturalization is the legal act or process by which a person from one country changes nationality to another country by aquiring citizenship. Some countries have the practice of naturalizing talented foreign athletes to make their eligible members of their national teams in major international events.

Round 4: This House Believe That the international community should abandon attemps to denuclearize North Korea.

Quarter-Finals: In times of crisis, This House Believe That the state should withhold information that may damage public confidence.

Rookie Semi Finals: This House Would make all salaries and employment term publicly accessible.

Semi-Finals: This House supports the establishment of citizen-initiated recall election procedures to remove elected officials.

Rookie Grand Finals: This House Believe That schols should prioritize character development over accademic performance.

Grand Finals: You are a respeced, high ranking, heterosexual officer in the military. In the past, you have publicly advocated for LGBT rights within the army and have worked hard to improve how they are treated. A newly elected conservative government has enacted a ban on LGBT’s serving in the army. As the officer, This House Would resign.
