If you want to enjoy some delicious food in Fukuoka, we strongly reccomend you ramen.

Ramen is a Japanese Chinese noodle soup. The noodles wewe originally from Chinese, but the Japanese have gave it a Japanese taste and called it ramen. Ramen is a national dish in Japan and there are different tastes in different areas. Fukuoka is especially famous for tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. You can enjoy a rich- tasting soup and noodles.

Historical Place

If you're interested in the history or religion in Fukuoka, Dazaifu-Tenmangu is the first place you should visit!

You might have heard that Japanese are non-religious, but in fact we celebrate multiple religious events and we are most effected by Shinto. Dazaifu-Tenmangu is one of the Shinto shrine worships the Tenjin-sama which is the god of academics, faith and purification. the shrine is surrounded by green and the building itself is over 1000 years old. It is the head temple of other tenmangus along with Kitano-Tenmangu, so millions of Japanese people visit the shrine during New Year. If you want to learn about the religious values and history of Japanese, it might be the best place to go.

Amusement facilities

If you’re interested in to shopping, Tenjin could be the place you’re looking for. Tenjin is the biggest commercial district in Fukuoka. The main street (Watanabe-dori Avenue) runs from south to north and has many department stores and shopping malls along it. Also, there are 600 meters of shopping amenities underground. You can enjoy various kinds of shopping there.
